Established in 2008 in Switzerland, Portmason Limited began as a business-to-business consultancy serving institutional investors, corporate entities and franchise operators across Europe. Our role was to provide clarity and structure in a sector often fragmented by geography, regulation and inconsistent standards.

With a strong focus on franchise investment, brand alignment and scalable ownership models, we advised on transactions involving some of the world’s most recognisable franchise names. Our clients relied on our discretion, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex cross-border requirements. In 2015, the UK arm of Portmason was launched in Mayfair, London. This expansion allowed us to develop a new division focused on private capital; specifically high net-worth individuals and sophisticated investors seeking secure and tax-efficient access to established franchise networks.
